We do ONE party at a time - the Studio is yours!! Perfect for kids, adults, boy scout/girl scout troops, and corporate team building.
BIRTHDAY PARTY #1 - CLAY SCULPTURE
A private clay sculpture party at our studio costs $350 for up to 10 children. Add $15 per additional child to 15 maximum. The studio is yours for three hours. Included in the fee are studio time, clay, glaze and instruction. We will supply two large pizzas and two bottles of soda. You may bring the cake and any other treats for the birthday child.
Each child will start off with a ball of clay and within an hour or so, they will have created their own sculpture. After eating, the children will glaze their sculptures. We do a pottery wheel demonstration, and the birthday child gets to keep the pot after each guest signs it. The pieces will be fired and ready within two weeks. The birthday parent is responsible for picking them up.
BIRTHDAY PARTY #2 - POTTERY WHEEL
A private pottery wheel party at our studio costs $350. Included in the cost are studio time, clay, glazes and instruction. After the pots dry, we will trim, fire and glaze the pots. They'll be ready for pick up within two weeks.
Maximum of 8 children (age 10+) for 2 1/2 hours. We will supply two large pizzas and two bottles of soda. You may bring the cake and any other treats for the birthday child.
All we can say is 'Dress for the Mess'. The pottery wheel is an experience that everyone wants to try at least once in a lifetime. Although we want everyone to have fun, the pottery wheel is not a toy.
PRIVATE PARTIES -CORPORATE PARTY/TEAM BUILDING/SPECIAL 'DATE' NIGHT
Reserve the studio for as long as you'd like. We can work out a party to meet your needs. A maximum of 20 is comfortable. We can split the group into two so that everyone gets a chance to experience the pottery wheel. Each group will also handbuild a project. Call us to inquire about your private party, or ask us to email you our basic party proposal.
BOY SCOUT/GIRL SCOUT TROOPS
The above party plans are the same for Boy and Girl Scouts. If your troop is small, try contacting another local group and combine your party to meet the costs. We will also include wheel demos, glaze and equipment techniques, slip casting, coiling and slab methods. We've done dozens of troops over the years. We know the requirements necessary to earn the badge. Call with any questions.
